Having my beautiful boy has changed, challenged, and redun my whole life. Not only is time management an old shoe kind of challenge but it is a challenge of magnificent proportion! With it is just life management in general. So i would like this new “page” in my blog history to cover helps, ideas, trials and failures, outtakes, and prayers/hopes for managing my life in 2011, for today jan. 19th 2011 (its midnight so my next step literally is shower and go to bed:) Hoping I can manage that….lol be back later
LM101
Day 1 Idea
It has been hard, nay, almost impossible to get it ALL done in a day, even a week, dare i say A MONTH! So my new LM101 idea is to try to manage my major life’s “jobs” all in one day, and then try and manage all of another “job” the next. For example, I’ll focus on just cleaning laundry, folding, putting away etc on said day, and not worry about it AT ALL again until DAY 3 or 5 (at my house i gotta do it daily, but if i focus a whole day for it, it just MAYBE might get done?!?!) anyway that’s my big idea
Here are my things that need its own day (housecleaning A-Z); CARES admin stuff (emails, posters, flyers, communique); Church Nursery admin. (phone calls, printables, curriculum, scheduling, monthly meetings, research); People (phone calls, emails, prayers, meetings)
WOW, i’m overwhelmed just thinkin about the stuff i actually “THINK” i’m needing to do and how sorely i have failed at each one, so i’m hoping this helps…
you see i get about 5% done in each area every day here and there amongst the regular day to day stuff and i don’t get most of it done for quite some time usually until it is crunch time and i have to put everything on hold and do the one thing for a whole day anyway! usually meaning no sleep, really late nights, and everything else on the back burner yet pressing….don’t wanna do that this year….
Lord I committ my plan to you, Use my life Lord, Fill me, guide me, heal me, help me Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ Name I ask amen.
